     MICHELLE NAPOLITANO-SCHWARTZ
MICHELLE SCHWARTZ

MICHELLE NAPOLITANO-SCHWARTZ - Owner and director of the Stanford Dance Studio for the past 11 years. She was a member of the first Stanford Competition Team, becoming a Platinum and Gold medallist in tap, jazz, and lyrical. She formed the youngest competition team in the history of the studio who went on to win First Place at Star Systems National Competition in Las Vegas. It is her unique choreography that continues to win Platinum and Gold in all divisions at regional and national competitions. Dance Explosion Competition awarded Michelle with the prestigious "Xcalibur Award" for the highest scoring dance performance. Michelle also received the Choreographer's Award at On Stage America Competition. Michelle auditioned with 200 women and was selected for a feature role in "Waiting in the Wings" starring Lea Salonga of Miss Saigon. She has judged major competitions in the metropolitan area. She has received a Certificate of Achievement while taking part in the Teacher's Workshop with Frank Hatchett and many other renowned dance professionals at the prestigious Broadway Dance Center. Michelle is extremely proud to be the studio owner and is proud of all of her students.

  
     GREG SINACORI
GREG SINACORI

GREG SINACORI - Began his dance training at age 4 at the Stanford Dance Studio. He later went on to graduate from LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts and in 2004 received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance through the Ailey / Fordham BFA program. Upon Graduation, Mr. Sinacori joined Alvin Ailey's second company (Ailey II) under the direction of Sylvia Waters. Through Ailey II he was given the opportunity to perform, lecture and teach at many theaters and universities across the United States. He later joined The Parsons Dance Company where he performed nationally as well in other countries including Italy, Brazil, Switzerland and Israel. Sinacori has received numerous awards for his choreography at local competitions and has assistant choreographed The Backyardigans Live Tour, 2010 Nickelodeon Music Fest, an episode for Team Umi Zoomi, Dora The Explorer, Angelina Ballerina and a short film, The Necklace. He has currently completed Season IV of the hit Nickelodeon series The Backyardigans as the animated dancing moose - Tyrone, and is also working on Season II of Nickelodeon's new animated hit, The Bubbleguppies. For the past four years Sinacori has been teaching Modern Dance at LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts, along with teaching Master Classes in and around NYC. This is Greg's 14th year choreographing and teaching Lyrical, Modern and Jazz at the Stanford Dance Studio.

  
     TIFFANY DEFALCO-RAINONE
TIFFANY DEFALCO

TIFFANY DEFALCO - This is Tiffany's 11th year as studio manager and teacher at the studio. She is one of the instructors of the award winning competition team who has won the "Xcalibur award," Platinum and High Gold and Highest score of the day in major competitions. She coordinates the Regional and National competitions. She currently teaches and choreographs jazz, tap, nursery, hip-hop and competition classes. She has judged for numerous prestigious competitions throughout the New York area. She also studies at the prestigious Broadway Dance Center.

  
     HARUNO FEDERICO
HARUNO FEDERICO

HARUNO FEDERICO - This is Haruno's 2nd year teaching ballet at the Stanford Dance Studio. Haruno has been a member of many prestigious ballet companies in New York and Tokyo, Japan including Asami Maki Ballet Company, New National Ballet Theater, Ballet Long Island, Saeko Ichinoche Dance Company, and the Robert Wilson Dance Company. Haruno was also a company dancer and choreographer for the Roxy Ballet Company of New Jersey. Before joining the Stanford Dance Studio, Haruno taught both children's and adult ballet classes at the Tachibana Ballet School in Tokyo, Japan and New York Dance Center in Manhattan.

  
     KRISTINA MICELI
KRISTINA MICELI

KRISTINA MICELI - Kristina has been a Stanford student for the past 18 years. She studied in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, and hip-hop, as well as advanced classes in all areas of dance at the Broadway Dance Center in NYC. Kristina is a recent graduate of Queens Borough Community College where she was a dance major and performed a piece choreographed by Robert Battle, from Battle Works Dance Company. Kristina also performed in the SUNY Purchase production of The Nutcracker with the SUNY Purchase Dance Core and the New York City Ballet, as well as in the movie Little Children starring Kate Winslet. Kristina has been assistant teaching jazz, tap, ballet, and hip hop for all nursery classes at the Stanford Studio for the past 7 years and this is her third year as a full time teacher at Stanford Studio.

 

  
     ALEXANDRA LANDIVAR
ALEXANDRA LANDIVAR

ALEXANDRA LANDIVAR - Alexandra loves to spread her knowledge of dance and performance to the new generation of dancers. She has competed in local NY dance competitions since she was 15 years old, winning platinum, high gold, and gold. She was a member of the Archbishop Molloy H.S. Dance Team and choreographed many hip-hop and jazz routines for the Archbishop Molloy H.S. Dance Club. Alexandra has participated in the Rockette Experience and Tremaine Dance Conventions. She is currently a member of a Salsa On2 Dance Team, Fusion's Finest and she was one of the couples chosen to represent NY Salsa on the Spanish telenovela, Un Sueno Llamado Salsa (A Dream Called Salsa).

  
     JUSTINE BELLO
JUSTINE BELLO

JUSTINE BELLO - Justine has been dancing at the studio for the past eleven years. She was part of the Archbishop Molloy Dance Team throughout high school and this year graduated from Hunter College where she also took dance classes. Justine performed in multiple shows and competitions as a member of Stanford Dance Studio's award winning competition team, Hunter College's Cheer/Dance Squad, and dance crew Dynamiq Faction. This is Justine's third year teaching at the studio.

  
     GINA MASULLO
GINA MASULLO

GINA MASULLO - This is Gina's 8th year at the Stanford Dance Studio. She was a member of the award-winning competition team and was captain of the Archbishop Molloy High School dance team where she was responsible for choreographing many of their award winning pieces. She continues to study regularly at Broadway Dance Center and recently began teaching Zumba Dance classes in and around NYC. Gina is currently music coordinator at the studio and is responsible for arranging and editing recital music, as well as in charge of Stanford's recital playbill layout and design.

      MARGARET CORRADO
MARGARET CORRADO

MARGARET CORRADO - Margaret has been dancing for many years and still loves every second of it! She danced with Stanford Dance Studio for 15 years and now teaches Hip Hop and is also our Zumba Fitness® instructor. After graduating high school, Margaret became a member of the nationally ranked St. John's University Dance Team and competed at Nationals in Orlando, Florida. She then went on to become the Head Dance Team coach at Long Island University C.W. Post.

Margaret has also been a fitness enthusiast for many years. She became a certified personal trainer through NASM in 2007 and recently an AFAA certified group fitness instructor. As a personal trainer and fitness instructor, Margaret works with her clients to jointly assess their current health and fitness issues. A comprehensive program is then developed that sets goals on training, health, nutrition and life.
